Purpose of Position
• Lead and oversee all MEP-related aspects of multiple projects in South India, ensuring compliance with design standards, codes and client requirements.
• Conduct technical design reviews and provide value engineering inputs at design and execution stages.
• Ensure accurate cost consultation, budget adherence and cost optimization strategies.
• Monitor project schedules, resources and deliverables for MEP works to ensure timely completion.
• Review contractor/vendor submissions, technical approvals and material inspections.
• Ensure HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards are integrated into all MEP activities.
• Mentor and support project engineers and MEP staff across sites to build capability and consistency. Business Development
• Identify and pursue new MEP opportunities in South India, leveraging existing client relationships and market knowledge.
• Support proposal development, technical presentations and costing for bids.
• Strengthen client engagement by acting as a trusted advisor for MEP solutions.
• Contribute to building Bureau Veritas’ brand positioning in the MEP domain.
1. Design Review & Quality Compliance:
• 100% of design reviews completed within stipulated timelines.
• ≤2% rework requests from clients due to design/MEP scope gaps.
2. Cost Consultation & Control:
• Achieve cost savings of at least 5–8% through value engineering and cost optimization.
• Ensure variance between estimated and actual project MEP cost ≤ ±5%.
3. Project Delivery & Timelines:
• ≥90% of projects delivered as per MEP schedule milestones.
• Client satisfaction scores ≥ 8/10 for MEP services in quarterly reviews.
4. Team & Process Management:
• Ensure 100% compliance with Bureau Veritas quality processes and HSE standards.
• Conduct at least 2 training/mentoring sessions per quarter for MEP engineers.
1. Revenue Growth:
• Generate at least 2–3 qualified leads per quarter from new or existing clients.
2. Client Acquisition & Retention:
• Secure at least 1 new MEP project per quarter through direct engagement.
• Maintain 90% client retention rate for repeat business in MEP services.
3. Market Development:
• Contribute to at least 3 proposal submissions per quarter.
• Actively participate in 2 industry forums/events annually to enhance visibility and networking.
The Senior MEP Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) aspects of projects in South India. The role entails 75% focus on design review, cost consultation, quality, and delivery of ongoing projects, and 25% focus on business development through client relationship management and securing new opportunities. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

Qualification and Experience
Graduate of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering masters preferably in Electrical/ Mechanical engineering with 15 years of experience in designing Residential /Commercial / institutional buildings
Skills & Qualities:
Deep knowledge of MEP design and site execution. Strong coordination with civil/architectural teams. Awareness of sustainability and efficiency practices. Proactive problem-solving mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills Should have good leadership abilities and skills. Should be able to manage a team under him. Should have a pleasing personality Good communication skills.
