Join our new team as a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineering. You and your team will be solving supplied material issues impacting the Sensors division factories in Andover, Portsmouth, and Louisville. This high visibility and on-site position will maintain a team of quality engineers who drive continuous improvement with focus on resolution of any supplier material nonconformance impacting the factory. You and your team will ensure effective root cause and corrective action implementation for supplier related issues. You will be a key player working with leaders in Operations, Quality, Program management, and Engineering to solve problems on our nation’s most advanced defense systems. As a leader of the Sensors Manufacturing Supplier Quality organization, you will help manage a team of quality engineers with an overall vision of reducing the impact of supplier nonconformance issues in the factories.
What You Will Do:
Lead a team of manufacturing supplier quality engineers driving resolution of supplier nonconformance issues in sensors factories. Leadership tasks will include staffing, coaching, presenting to senior leadership, and performance reviews.Your on-site presence will allow your immediate interaction with leaders in Operations, Engineering, and Quality in your factories. You will regularly engage with other factory leadership to ensure alignment of top priorities for your team.Ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective actions are fully implemented by your team when supplier nonconformances impact the factory. Communication of lessons learned from supplied material nonconformances to reduce future risk across the supply chainWorking side by side with factory Operations, Engineering, and Quality identifying and supporting continuous product improvements using analytical tools such as APQP and CORE manufacturing methodologies. Report weekly metrics including Supplier caused QNs (quality notifications) in your factoryPerform verification and validation of improvements to understand effectiveness.Identify opportunities for improvements to be leveraged across similar process/assemblies as well as other programs.Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or other technical field of study, and a minimum of 10 years related experience.Project management experience including managing multiple projects and leading teamsExperience building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers or partners (both internal and external to Raytheon)The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Value:

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
