Purpose
The Senior Manager & Lead, Analytics & Insights will play a critical role in supporting the Total Wealth Strategy by leading high-impact analytics initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making and deliver effective solutions to accelerate business growth and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights. Working closely with Scotia Wealth Advisory business lines (SM, PIC & PB), the Senior Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects and key initiatives, applying deep business acumen and strong leadership to drive meaningful outcomes.
Accountabilities
Lead the design and execution of analytics solutions that support advisory business priorities
Elevate & enhance Total Wealth Analyzer as the advisor's go-to tool for tailored analytics and creating a one-stop shop for deeper client insights and new growth opportunities
Standardize reporting across advisory business lines to enable insights and strategic visibility
Oversee the team responsible for managing all tool-related inquiries from advisor teams, field staff, and head office stakeholders. This includes handling access requests, responding to data inquiries, and ensuring timely resolution of user issues to support seamless business operations
Provide thought leadership in data storytelling, visualization, and advanced analytics that drive decision-making
Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven strategies
Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams to ensure alignment and delivery
Identify opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities and influence strategic direction
Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of growth and innovation
Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. Understand Scotiabank’s values, code of conduct and adhere to operational, compliance and conduct risk policies
