**Job Description**
This is a hybrid job offering with 3 days onsite at the offsite distribution center in **Lyndhurst, New Jersey** required at minimum. This detail oriented and proactive Senior Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple inventory processes. Will maintain accurate inventory levels of offsite warehouse products, to include Emergency Management stock, 3PL inventory, as well as conduct demand forecasting to ensure sufficient stock levels in case of threats or other events.

**Education Requirements:**
Bachelor’s degree in data management, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or related
Masters desirable, and/or combination of equivalent experience
**Experience Requirements:**
+ 7 years in Windows-based inventory applications, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervisory or management in data-entry functions.
+ Proven experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field.
+ Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends and offer data-driven suggestions.
+ High level of accuracy in managing inventory records and conducting audits.
**Compensation Statement:**
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $78,884.00 - $118,326.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
Non-Bargaining Unit, AVL - Materials Management Purchasing - BI, Mount Sinai Beth Israel
**Responsibilities**
+ Manages institutional inventory control systems; oversees the accuracy and integrity of databases and files (item, vendor, cost center, object code, etc.) used in inventory balance.
+ Develops and implements policies and procedures necessary for the accurate and effective use of inventory applications.
+ Develops management reports necessary for the effective flow and rotation of stock inventories in receipts and issues.
+ Provides consumption reports to end-user departments to forecast inventory usage and for budgetary preparation. Prepares volume reports by vendor to assist in the contract renewal process.
+ Provides commodity reports that may assist in standardization efforts by identifying high volume/high dollar areas of opportunity.
+ Organizes yearly physical inventories at significant stock locations, including: Offsite Distribution Center, Storerooms, Operating Rooms, Pharmacy, Cath Lab, Sterile Processing, Anesthesiology, Radiology and others.
+ Works in collaboration with Business Development for the additions, deletions and editing of files that comprise the hospital-wide inventory application.
+ Maintains and develops relationships with third-party inventory vendors.
+ Coordinates hospital conversions in conjunction with requests from Value Analysis.
+ Will assist in the handling of product recalls by researching purchasing history, removal and substitution of recalled product, and places orders for departments for substitute products as needed to be stored in the 3PL program.
+ Communicates with vendors to expedite open purchase orders, discusses lead-time problems, backorders and product availability. Keeps management abreast of manufacturer backorders and stock outs and any supply chain disruptions which may impact patient care.
+ Interfaces with Purchasing and in the negotiation of supplies as needed.
+ Interfaces with Accounts Payable in solving credit-hold situations.
+ Acts as liaison between the Print Shop and vendors as regards to printing and replenishment of NCR forms, and ensures availability of forms at all times.
+ Assists in JCAHO preparations.
+ Ensures optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
Provides detailed reports on inventory status, discrepancies and improvement opportunities
