Role and Responsibilities
Establish and maintain all the PMS in-house management systems and procedures in relation to Security, Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality to meet the contractual and regulatory requirements.Responsible for the Safety of the entire bus operation while documenting and investigating any Security, Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality breaches to aim complying with all the Company, HSEQ, KPI’s and Set Objectives.To achieve this, the Senior HSEQ Manager will review and approve the Security, Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems of all the contractors, and ensure, through inspections and audits, the contractors’ continuous compliance of their operation towards these systems as well as their contractual and regulatory obligations.Provide support and lead the team of inspectors that will verify the contractors’ compliance with their contractual KPIs and SLAs as well as with their Security,Providing Management with regular reports about the performance of the HSEQ Management Systems and suitable corrective actions and incident investigations for non-compliance/violations.Ensure RA’s / JSA’s, SWMS, are conducted and ensure risk are mitigated, reduced or eliminated. HSE inspections, investigations and handling of violations are effective. Provides guidance on Hazards and Risk Management.Establish solid communications with all contractors and fellow Managers and Departments, analyze HSE Data and compile detailed daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports.Develop and conduct Environmental, Security, Quality and Health and Safety Training Programs and train employees in the understanding of these systems and principles as per the Company’s requirements.Play a leading role in establishing and maintaining a class leading safe, healthy and environmentally friendly Culture within the auspices of the entire Project structure. Ensures safe working practices are established and carried out.• Conduct regular HSE meetings at all levels of the operation as well as scheduled management review meetings to establish suitability and effectiveness of the entire HSE System.
Qualification and Education RequirementsA minimum of 12 years’ overall HSEQ managerial experience, ideally including specific public transport involvement.NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ L5 Occupational Health and Safety Practices.Internal Auditor ISO 14001, 9001 and 18001/45001.• Membership of IOSH.
