Senior Manager FP&A, (Plasma and Biologics)

McKesson is seeking a strong and self-motivated individual to serve as an FP&A Sr. Manager for its Specialty limited distribution business (McKesson Plasma and Biologics). The FP&A Sr. Manager will be the lead on month-end close and forecast activities, annual budgeting, long-range planning, as well as lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytics and dashboards to support increased demands for financial support driven by the material growth of a dynamic business. The Sr. Manager will partner closely with operations leadership teams, supplier facing teams, sales, operations divisions and various finance departments across the organization. The Sr. Manager is a trusted business partner to various operations leaders who can leverage resources across the organization to produce actionable insights for strategic decision making. Effective communication skills, strong leadership, and consistent, accurate, and timely execution are key attributes for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities​

Manage & develop team of FP&A analysts in support of business-critical functions

Monthly close and forecasting including production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on the results

Development of the annual budget and long-term planning

Maintain and enhance customer and segment level reporting

Partner with pricing on customer negotiations and support new contracts/contract renewal modeling 

Partner with Accounting and Operations to streamline financial processes

Partner with Accounting and Manufacturing relations teams to ensure manufacturer fees are processed, recognized, and collected appropriately

Ability to generate business insight from large datasets

Conceptualize and execute digital transformation/automation process improvement initiatives

Present monthly, qtrly, annual variances to budget/forecast to senior leaders

Advanced analytics on supplier events such as industry consolidation, price inflation, and regulatory policies/environment

Partner closely with operation leaders, supplier relations teams, various finance departments across the organization

Support special projects, including process improvement, system enhancement, ad-hoc analysis, business initiatives

Travel less than 10%

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.

Critical Skills

Ability to distill and present complicated financial information and complicated business topics to top leaders.

Strong data analytical, modeling and quantitative skills with ability to interpret data and provide recommendations.

Strong leadership abilities, managing cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and Sarbanes Oxley principles.

Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint skills.

Ability to lead and balance multiple projects in various stages of completion.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Experience with ERP systems and forecasting tools such as SAP, BX COPA strongly preferred.

Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud preferred

Experience with BI tools such as PowerBi and/or Tableau preferred

Salary: 108,700.00 - 144,900.00 - 181,100.00 USD Annual (20% MIP)
