We are hiring a Senior manager to lead our Financial planning solutions team. Are you ready to lead improvements in the field of financial planning in a fast-paced, global tech environment? In this role, you’ll manage a team of experienced professionals and work closely with IT and finance teams to improve planning processes, drive innovation, and support better business decisions.

We are looking for a strong people leader with extensive experience in driving change and innovation.

Role and responsibilities

As a Senior manager financial planning solutions, you will leverage your practical expertise to ensure successful changes in the financial planning processes, guide your team, and solidify the role of Planning Solutions within this rapidly growing organization. You will actively manage stakeholder relationships and champion ongoing innovations in the field of financial planning.

You will also play a key role in the multi-year Business Performance Management program. This position is both challenging and rewarding, set in a dynamic, internationally-focused environment. You will help the team transform to deliver a world-class end-to-end financial planning process that guarantees effectiveness and enhances business control for better decision-making. In this role, you will:

Lead a team of 5 highly skilled senior professionals focused on improving the financial planning processes. You will have regular development and performance conversations with your team members, supporting them in their professional growth. Next to that, you will:

Build and showcase a solid understanding of the entire end-to-end and cross-sector planning process, collaborating with business partners across various sectors and business lines.

Take responsibility for the business architecture of planning processes, ensuring a good understanding of the underlying IT technologies.

Build a strong network of stakeholders and have an influential voice in the conversation.

Identify and drive improvement initiatives in the respective process areas, with a strong focus on the triple constraints in various implementations.

Education and experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:

10-15 years of substantial experience in finance, ideally within a financial improvement and IT technology environment.

A Master’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration or more technical degree inspired by finance as an area of application.

At least 3 years of experience in managing teams.

Proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud planning, reporting, and automation tools.

A solid understanding of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.

Experience working in an international or multinational environment.

Familiarity with AGILE and LEAN principles, with a strong affinity for optimizing processes.

In this role you will be part of the Planning & data management team which is part of the Transformation digital finance (TDF) department. TDF is part of our finance organization. This is a full-time position (40 hours).
