About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic and purpose-driven Senior Manager – Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) to lead Aon’s second line of defence (2LoD) FCC function across Australia and PNG. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you’ll play a key role in protecting Aon’s operations from financial crime risks and ensuring compliance with AML/CTF, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Economic Trade Sanctions, Fraud and other related obligations.

What You Will Do
+ Lead the end-to-end 2LoD FCC function, working closely with senior stakeholders across Australia, APAC and the Global Compliance team.
+ Provide expert advice on AML/CTF, AB&C, ETS, and Fraud-related matters across Aon’s business.
+ Oversee regulatory compliance processes, risk assessments, and implementation of FCC frameworks, including working closely with Aon operations, segment leads and 1LoD Risk Advisory function.
+ Act as the primary contact for AML/CTF regulatory inquiries and maintain positive relationships with regulators.
+ Conduct horizon scanning and ensure emerging threats are identified and addressed.
+ Mentor junior compliance colleagues and lead FCC-related projects and initiatives.
+ Assist the Head of Compliance, Compliance Directors and Managers with other 2LoD related risk and compliance matters as required.
What We Are Looking For
+ Proven experience in financial crime compliance within financial services industry.
+ Solid understanding of AML/CTF legislation and related regulatory frameworks.
+ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
+ Strategic approach with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
+ High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk management.
