How will you make an impact in this role?
American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) Products is the leading payment card issuer for corporations and small businesses, offering products and services to help them run and grow their business. Within GCS Products, the Commercial Card Product and Platform Development team is seeking a dynamic individual to help create and bring to market the next generation of card, virtual card, and spend controls capabilities through API products
Responsibilities:
Engage in early strategic planning and discovery to define MVP scope, point-of-arrival vision, and phased delivery approaches that balance near term impact with long-term scalabilityLead the E2E development of domain capabilities and API products that enhance efficiency, scalability, and meet customer needs across the business ecosystemDrive collaboration with engineering, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve trade-offs, and accelerate delivery of high impact initiativesIdentify opportunities to enhance existing capabilities to improve scalability and speed to marketProactively identify inefficiencies in current processes and create strategies to streamline workflows to improve outcomesLeverage data-driven insights to refine digital capabilities, optimize usability, and drive adoption at scaleCommunicate strategies, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and updates to senior leadership and key stakeholdersFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and coaching team members while modeling execution excellenceMinimum Qualifications:
Experience in digital product management/product developmentStrong technical background with an understanding of API and domain architecture Proven ability to identify and understand business needs, turn them into technology solutions, and effectively prioritize the roadmap for deliveryProven track record in leading large product initiatives from concept to executionStrong ability to collaborate across teams and drive alignment on priorities and executionExperience defining and delivering product roadmaps, managing multiple priorities while adapting to evolving business needsStrong analytical skills with experience using data and research to guide decision-makingProficiency in documenting business solutions to ensure a clear understanding of platform capabilities and their role in product developmentFamiliarity with agile methodologies and product development frameworksBachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related fieldSalary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
