American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading provider of payments for corporations and businesses of all sizes globally. The US SME (Small Medium Enterprise) segment is the largest opportunity for growth in GCS and a key area of strategic focus and investment. The US SME Customer Marketing team deepens relationships with existing customers by offering powerful backing and financial support to Small & Middle Market businesses through the US SME distribution system (digital, phone & field sales).
The Senior Manager, Digital Customer Marketing will lead the Demand Gen (lead warming) strategy for the US SME managed customer segment, delivering high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns to deepen customer engagement and generate demand across the funnel. This role involves complex campaign execution, quantitative analysis, and a deep understanding of how marketing capabilities can drive efficiency for Sales. Ideal candidate is customer-centric, data driven marketer with outstanding partnership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and deliver strategy for digital warming campaigns in partnership with broader team, agencies, and partners. Manage end-to-end campaign planning, execution, and optimization—ensuring alignment between Marketing and Sales, to support customer growth and revenue generation. Build test & learn culture, encouraging innovation to deliver new campaigns to elevate program. Develop best-in-class, data-driven marketing strategies and communications to engage our partners and customers. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations for further enhancing customer treatments, in partnership with key partners. Lead the evolution of our measurement strategy to more closely link digital efforts to charge volume and efficiency gains to prove out return on investment. Lead team of 2-3 Analysts by setting clear vision, promoting collaboration, and supporting individual growth in a dynamic environment.Minimum Qualifications :
5+ years of marketing strategy and execution experience, with a preference for experience managing development and execution of multi-channel campaigns. Innovative and comfortable navigating white space and ambiguity. Strategic thinker who can balance big picture with execution components. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively. Analytical and data-driven: ability to synthesize insights and results to make recommendations to drive towards goals. Excellent partnership skills: ability to collaborate with and influence multiple cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Analytics, Product). Strong executive presence with ability to communicate effectively across level. Strong people leader with ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
