How will you make an impact in this role?

Work closely with business teams to capture, analyze and understand business requirements and translate activities and business objectives into analytical tools for application in a production scale environmentFacilitate and ensure adherence to Analytics team processes and proceduresArchitect, document, develop, code, and test analytics models to create scalable advanced analytics solutionsPartner collaboratively with other functional teams to access data elements, understand the data being analyzed and identify improvement opportunities for the analytics environmentUsing Tableau, develop well-organized and insightful reports, dashboards and other forms of data visualizations to support business awareness and decision-makingManage projects with multiple stakeholders by prioritizing and delegating projects/tasksGuide strategy, roadmap, and execution with regards to development and optimization of our Business Intelligence ecosystem; Ensure that Business Intelligence suite enhances business decision-making capabilities and addresses the needs of cross-functional stakeholdersSet guidelines for report approval, quality control, and data set usageDocument all available reports to ensure stakeholder access to available reporting; Define and implement reporting distribution strategy to direct users to most relevant reporting for specific use case and keep users informed of new releases as well as updates/changes to existing reportsEnsure that reporting suite and user permissions remain in compliance within the evolving security & privacy landscapeAdvance the broader Analytics team's continued education in advancements in visualization techniques and best practices

Minimum Qualifications:Expertise in SQL query development including performance tuning, stored procedure development and complex query development5-10 years experience in an analytical role, performing deep-dive analyses and defining key business metrics that drive strategy; Financial services experiences is a plusBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc). Advanced degrees preferred.Experience in developing data modelsExperience working collaboratively across teams and with partners across all levels of an organizationExtensive experience with TableauDemonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience and succinctly summarizing complex conceptsFamiliarity with statistical methods and conceptsProficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) for data analysis is a plus
