**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced and decisive Senior Manager - Construction to lead our construction operations in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of construction project delivery across a portfolio of projects, manage and develop high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence and strategic growth across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic vision, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget while building sustainable business value.
+ Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while optimizing resource allocation across the portfolio
+ Lead, mentor, and develop construction teams at all levels, including site managers, supervisors, and field personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
+ Develop and implement strategic project management frameworks and operational processes that align with organizational objectives, client requirements, and long-term business goals
+ Manage project and operational budgets, monitor expenditures, implement cost control measures, and drive profitability improvements across all construction operations
+ Ensure full compliance with all applicable Saudi Arabian construction regulations, building codes, safety standards, and government requirements
+ Coordinate strategically with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and government agencies, to maintain clear communication, build strong partnerships, and resolve issues promptly
+ Conduct regular site inspections and comprehensive quality audits to ensure work meets specifications, industry best practices, and organizational standards
+ Identify, assess, and mitigate project and operational risks, developing robust contingency plans and mitigation strategies to address potential challenges proactively
+ Prepare comprehensive project reports, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
+ Manage contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and procurement strategy to optimize resource allocation, enhance supplier partnerships, and maximize operational efficiency
+ Drive organizational development initiatives, including succession planning, talent development, and knowledge management within the construction operations team
+ Contribute to strategic business development and growth initiatives, identifying new market opportunities and expanding the organization's construction portfolio
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with demonstrated career advancement
+ Minimum 10 years in senior management or executive leadership roles within the construction industry
+ Extensive proven experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects with budgets exceeding several million dollars
+ Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
+ Demonstrated expertise in strategic project scheduling, resource planning, budget management, and financial forecasting
+ Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities with a strong track record of building, mentoring, and developing high-performing construction teams
+ Advanced proficiency in construction management software, enterprise project management tools, and digital construction technologies
+ Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to make strategic decisions under pressure and in complex situations
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience managing relationships across multiple organizational levels
+ Extensive experience managing diverse construction project types (commercial, residential, infrastructure, industrial, etc.)
+ Strong familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations, local market practices, and government compliance requirements
+ Advanced knowledge of risk management, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement methodologies in construction
+ Expert-level proficiency in contract management, vendor coordination, and procurement strategy optimization
+ Experience in strategic planning, operational excellence, and organizational development (preferred)
+ Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building standards in construction (preferred)
