Job Purpose :
The Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and commercial strategy across the business. The role leads contract management, pricing, negotiations, and commercial risk while partnering closely with sales, finance, operations, and legal teams to support sustainable business growth.Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Performance
Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with business objectivesDrive revenue growth, margin improvement, and long-term profitabilityLead pricing strategies, cost control initiatives, and value optimizationMonitor market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to inform decisionsContract & Negotiation Management
Lead high-value commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partnersOversee contract development, review, and governance to manage risk and complianceEnsure contracts are commercially sound and aligned with legal and financial standardsManage variations, claims, disputes, and commercial issuesFinancial & Commercial Governance
Own commercial forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance trackingWork closely with finance on revenue recognition, cost management, and reportingIdentify and mitigate commercial and financial risksSupport business cases, investment appraisals, and strategic initiativesStakeholder & Team Leadership
Act as a senior commercial advisor to leadership and cross-functional teamsBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersLead, mentor, and develop commercial team membersDrive best practices in commercial processes and controlsOperational Support

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Administration8–12+ years of experience in commercial management, contracts, or business leadershipProven experience managing complex, high-value contracts and negotiationsStrong commercial and financial acumenExperience from the Dairy industry would be beneficialSkills & Competencies
