We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Manager – Commercial** to join our team! In this role, you will manage commercial and contractual activities for major projects, ensuring effective cost control, risk management, and compliance with Parsons’ policies and client requirements. You will work closely with project leadership, consultants, and contractors to deliver commercially successful outcomes. **What You’ll Be Doing:** + Manage all pre- and post-contract commercial activities on assigned projects, from tender evaluation through to final account settlement. + Support contract negotiations with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring favorable commercial and contractual terms. + Oversee the preparation and review of payment applications, variations, and claims. + Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow to ensure financial control. + Advise project leadership and clients on contractual issues, risk exposure, and dispute avoidance. + Ensure change management processes are followed and commercial impacts are fully assessed. + Lead a small team of commercial professionals, providing guidance and mentoring to ensure high standards of performance. + Collaborate with technical, procurement, and finance teams to align commercial strategy with project objectives. + **What Required Skills You’ll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. + 15+ years of commercial management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role on major infrastructure, building, or mixed-use projects + Professional membership such as MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent. + Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and commercial management best practices. + Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in cost and contract management software. **What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:** + Experience in the Middle East region, preferably within PMO/PMC environments + Proven track record in dispute resolution and claims management. + Familiarity with digital tools and reporting dashboards for commercial tracking. + Exposure to sustainability and value engineering initiatives.
