Introduction to the Job

We are hiring a Senior manager business control – inventory. You are responsible to lead a team of controllers and act as a key business partner for our inventory business. This role is pivotal in shaping financial insights that support ASML’s growth and operational excellence and is part of the Business Insights and Control, Capital Efficiency team.

Role and Responsibilities

In this position of Senior manager business control – inventory you will be leading a team of approximately five global controllers, including direct reports in the Netherlands. You act as a global business partner for topics such as inventory projection, excess & obsolete inventory, repair and reuse. Your responsibilities:

Deliver insights into inventory at both company-wide and business line levels.

Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and performance management cycles.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning & Delivery and Customer Value,  Re-Use and ABS.

Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Contribute to the development of ASML’s finance analytics capabilities through change management and improvement initiatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across finance and business functions.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance

12+ years of experience in Business Control roles and FP&A, of which 5+ as team lead.

Proven experience in Accounting, preferably with a Manufacturing business.

Proven experience in people management, in building and leading diverse teams.

Strong background in managing complex financial processes and using tools such as SAP BW and BI reporting as well as SAC.

Experience in a high-tech, multinational, and matrixed environment, preferably with manufacturing component.

Experience in inventory management accounting or supply chain finance are a plus

Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of a global organization.

This position is part of the ASML Business insights and control organization. You will report to the Head of business insights & control – capital efficiency and work closely with various departments inside and outside of finance.
