What You'll Do

As a Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Financial Institutions Practice Area, working closely with BCG's Technology and Digital Advantage Practice Area, you will collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providing both industry expertise and functional AI insights. You will work directly with case and proposal teams to deliver knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.

This is a commercially oriented, execution-heavy role with a clear billability expectation. You will be expected to contribute materially to client work through case staffing, proposal support, workshops, and expert advisory — with a target in line with Topic Activation performance standards. You will be actively staffed on AI in FI client engagements and expected to build a strong reputation with case teams as a go-to expert.

In parallel, you will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the Artificial Intelligence in Financial Institutions business (AI in FI), serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts for the topic leadership team. You will help translate case experience into scalable assets and reusable go-to-market content.

You will combine deep Financial Institutions domain expertise with AI-enabled solutions to help case teams and clients unlock business value. Rather than focusing on isolated use cases, you will help shape domain-led transformation programs — including agentic redesigns of critical banking processes.

You will lead the AI in FI “proposal desk” and continuously strengthen our commercialization toolkit. This includes rapidly navigating BCG’s go-to-market assets to support high-quality, high-velocity proposals across regions, while ensuring our materials reflect real case experience and differentiated proprietary assets.

As a Manager – BCG Vantage, you may line manage junior colleagues and will be responsible for goal setting, feedback, coaching, and performance management — while maintaining your own strong commercial contribution.

What You'll Bring

· 3+ years consulting experience in Financial Institutions and advanced analytics topics required; candidates with consulting experience preferred

· In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred

· Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)

· Experience delivering complex projects for AI in a Financial Institutions context

· Fluency in English

· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment

· Taking a multi-disciplinary approach to AI-enabled transformation in Financial Institutions, connecting AI capabilities with risk and compliance, operating model design, regulatory constraints, commercial strategy, and end-to-end process redesign

· Solving complex client challenges through rigorous, tailored analytical approaches drawing on your experience and BCG’s deep expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) use cases and solutions to deliver practical, high-impact outcomes.

· Driving development and maintenance of knowledge assets e.g. tools, AI in FI materials, based on different client contexts

· Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, digital transformation narratives, agentic AI platforms, apps, ecosystems, market trends, use cases and enabling technologies / data / algorithms

· Familiarity with software development projects, particularly those using Agile methodologies, is beneficial to understand the complexity of technological development and adoption.

· Communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to engage your audience effectively

· Managing a portfolio of projects, with strong awareness of business priorities and commercial impact, driving BCG’s commercial agenda and business development initiatives for AI in FI

· Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

· Programming experience (e.g., Python, SQL) not required but beneficial· Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members

· Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment

· Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and communication skills
