What You'll Do
As a Senior Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Health Care Practice Area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the Med Tech business in EU and AP.
You will engage with case teams and clients to provide knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory based on your individual expertise. You'll serve as a thought partner and context expert to case teams and topic leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. You will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the Med Tech sector.
Additionally, as a Senior Manager, you will line manage a team of junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoing feedback and career development. You will be responsible for team’s performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.), and for the growth and deployment of the team to support case work, content development and business build initiatives.
The Med Tech team at BCG brings deep industry expertise across IVD, Life Science Tools, Medical Equipment, Devices, and Supplies. We are passionate about helping clients in this dynamic and fragmented space strengthen their competitive positioning in an evolving market. Our work spans critical topics such as corporate strategy, M&A, go-to-market and commercial excellence, innovation, operational performance, and digital transformation.
Success in this role will require:
In depth knowledge of the Med Tech landscape, including market dynamics and evolving trendsStrong understanding of at least one of these high-priority Med Tech segments: Cardiovascular, Dental, Diagnostic Imaging, Endoscopy, Ophthalmics, Orthopedics, SurgeryStrategic and analytical acumen related to Med Tech; ability to identify market opportunities and growth drivers, experience in strategies to address market challenges, and understanding of innovation in Med TechAbility to translate insights into strategic recommendations for commercial execution and business growth in support of the go-to-market agenda and prioritiesFamiliarity with key data sources for secondary research and expertise in synthesizing insights from multiple data sets to develop business recommendationsYOU'RE GOOD AT

5+ years consulting experience in Med Tech required; candidates with consulting experience preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 7+ years minimum Med Tech industry experience required; 10-12+ years of Med Tech industry experience strongly preferredBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Fluency in English (required) and German (preferred)Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environmentWho You'll Work With
