Job Description:
Are you an expert in asset lifecycle management with a passion for ensuring operational readiness? We are seeking a Senior Manager – Assets/Transition/Mobilization Management to lead and oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of physical assets for a high-profile Facilities Operations Managing Agent (VMA) project. In this role, you will focus on asset registration, data management, and the seamless transition of new or refurbished assets from project completion to operational readiness, handover and operations ensuring long-term operational efficiency and compliance with organizational standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the Senior Manager – Asset Management, you will collaborate with project teams, the FM department, and other stakeholders to establish robust asset management processes. You will ensure that all assets are appropriately documented, integrated into CAFM/CMMS systems, and prepared for effective operation and maintenance. This role requires a strategic thinker with technical expertise in asset lifecycle management, operational readiness, and a commitment to excellence.
Asset Management Strategy:
Develop and implement an asset management strategy, including processes for asset registration, tagging, verification, and data upkeep within CAFM/CMMS systems, aligned with ISO 55000 standards.
Asset Transition & Handover:
Lead the asset transition process by coordinating with project teams and the FM department to ensure the seamless handover of new or refurbished assets, including all necessary documentation (e.g., O&Ms, as-builts, warranties).
Data Integrity & Maintenance Planning:
Oversee the accuracy and completeness of the asset register to support maintenance planning, lifecycle costing, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with the FM department to develop long-term asset maintenance and replacement strategies based on condition assessments and lifecycle analysis.
Operational Readiness & Assurance Testing (ORAT):
Develop and implement ORAT plans for new facilities or systems transitioning into operation, ensuring readiness for effective use.
Team Leadership & Compliance:
Manage a team (if applicable) responsible for asset data management and field verification.
Ensure asset disposal is managed in accordance with client policies and Saudi environmental regulations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Information Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role focused on asset registration, CAFM/CMMS, and project-to-operations transition/ORAT within large-scale facilities.
In-depth knowledge of asset management principles (ISO 55000), asset lifecycle management, and handover best practices.
Proven expertise in CAFM/CMMS systems for asset tracking, data management, and maintenance planning.
Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Familiarity with ORAT processes and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
