Primary Responsibilities:
Apply engineering principles to the systematic design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software for large-scale blue-chip projects spanning eligibility, benefit, provider, and claim domainsCover all primary development activities across technology functions to ensure the delivery of high-quality code for applications, products, and servicesUnderstand customer needs and develop product roadmaps that align with those needsEngage in analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, and documentation to support software development and maintenanceResearch and develop new tools, techniques, and strategies to enhance software quality and performance, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in cloud and AI to solve complex business problemsAutomate common tasks and build common utilities to drive organizational efficiencyMaintain high standards for quality in every output, ensuring reliability and robustness in software deliverablesEvaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the organizationFoster a passion for technology and solutions, and influence thought leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative waysCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and delivery of software solutionsComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferredProven experience in applying engineering principles to the design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of softwareExtensive experience in software development activities, including analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, and documentationExperience in automating common tasks and building common utilities to improve organizational efficiencyDemonstrated ability to understand customer needs and develop strategic product roadmapsSolid expertise in working on large-scale blue-chip projects, particularly within eligibility, benefit, provider, and claim domainsProficiency in leveraging cutting-edge technologies in cloud and AI to address complex business problemsProven skilled in researching and developing new tools, techniques, and strategies to enhance software quality and performanceProven commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in software deliverablesProven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologiesProven excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and delivery of software solutionsProven passion for technology and innovation, with a demonstrated ability to influence thought leadership on future capabilities and opportunities in technology
