The AS Offer Design & Delivery team is responsible for developing new offers that align with AS strategic priorities. Offer development includes defining new products, driving organizational alignment on product goals, managing the process of preparing new products and offers for launch, and then launching the product to market in partnership with the business. The responsibility of this team has a wide scope ranging from initial market research through to post-launch product refinements. We work collaboratively with organizations across Advisor Services including Sales, Service, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Digital, Data, and Technology to achieve these outcomes.
As Senior Manager within AS Offer Design & Delivery you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of new offers to address the needs of our RIA clients and support our strategic objectives. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Advisor Services strategy team and senior leaders to curate ideas for new offers and services. This role will partner with functional leaders within AS and across Schwab to lead holistic strategic design of offer components, manage the build of offers, and develop/execute program launch plans.
The role will require working cross-functionally with all levels within the AS enterprise and other Schwab organizations to ensure strategic and tactical input is provided in all phases of offer design from conception through rollout. The nature of responsibilities associated with this role varies widely from project to project. For example, you may be responsible for strategic story telling & financial analysis to gather executive leadership input and alignment on the offer. Then, you may have a client facing role where you assist Sales in problem solving and resolving client objections. Finally, you may be responsible for mitigating business risk through drafting legal documents/disclosures and developing operational processes in close coordination with business unit leaders, risk, and compliance.
Core responsibilities include:
Offer Design. Design new offers to best meet advisor and business needs. Conduct gap analyses against current capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement and investment. Synthesize findings into a compelling vision for offer roadmap and develop presentations to aid facilitation of decision making among the AS leadership team and key business partners.
Offer Planning and Decision Support. Develop a well-informed and trusted point of view to help facilitate design and go-to-market decisions with senior leaders. Work with partners to gather, prioritize, and size investments to inform overall project timeline. Appropriately escalate opportunities and challenges that materially impact projects with informed opinions on paths forward.
Offer Development Program Management, Launch, and Incubation. Develop a project plan for offer launch and drive accountability with key partners to launch program on schedule with key features in place. Support the initial phase of launch and resolve early challenges.
