About the role
This is an exciting opportunity and time to join our Transformation management office as a Senior Programme Manager. We are looking for a collaborative individual to be at the heart of delivering our transformation change agenda. Each transformation programme is instrumental in driving the company's growth ambition and achievement of strategic objectives. By guiding and leading change initiatives, you will contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Boots UK has a significant portfolio of transformational change comprising multiple large-scale programmes. You will take ownership of deploying the tools and capabilities required to support the delivery of one of our more complex transformation programmes and will be responsible for the successful set up, governance and delivery of a transformation change programme.
Key responsibilities
Bringing programme management leadership to partner the programme director, leader and other senior stakeholders
Bringing structure, discipline and control to a programme to ensure excellence in delivery in terms of cost, time and quality
Management of risks, issues, assumptions and decisions
Identification and management of dependencies within and between programmes
Ensure the programme utilises Programme Management best practice
What you'll need to have
5+ years experience being a programme manager, ideally having led and implemented an EPOS system
MSP or APM Project Manager Qualifications
Familiar with Waterfall and Agile approaches
Working in the broader field of project, programme and portfolio management and strategic planning
Experience working with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and excellent communication skills
