Senior Manager – Valuations Surveyor, Marsh Advisory

You will be part of the Valuation Team (VSP) team within the Marsh Advisory department.
This role offers the chance to work on independent reinstatement valuations and large-scale portfolio assessments, providing invaluable experience in a dynamic environment.
You are also expected to give recommendations to help advise our brokerage colleagues on how they can improve their client’s market submission.
You will be trained on the concepts of Property Valuation to support our global Valuation team.
You will be reading through the complex risk survey reports and capturing the critical data points from these reports

We will count on you to:
The Analyst will work within the Property Risk Consulting team of Marsh Advisory, reporting to a Director.
He/she will be responsible to collate and manage the risk engineering survey reports across Marsh.
He/she is expected to support the team on ad-hoc requests received within the team.
Liaise with the global PRC team members and leaders to create streamlined process to share the final client deliverable.
Upload the report onto internal client portal of Marsh and review the consistency of information
Read the report and capture critical meta-data from the risk survey reports and save the information into a structured database via web-based forms.
Build continuous improvement in data capture process and highlight any anomalies to the senior team members.
Identify opportunities for new and existing business with small to mid-sized clients
He/she is expected to complete the various requests end to end with providing suggestions on the road map for the global clients.
Supporting the Property Valuation team on end-to-end valuation task within the expected turnaround time.
Assisting the Senior Risk Engineer in estimating the Risk Scores for the given client and the risk involved.
Highlighting any ambiguity in the data or issues pertaining to missing information.
Train the junior colleagues on interpreting and estimating appropriate results
What you need to have:
RICS qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
Working experience of 6-8 years preferably in the insurance sector would be desirable
Knowledge on basics of Insurance.
Problem solving and critical thinking approach
Detail orientation, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
Ability to pay attention to details and quick learning capabilities.
Ability to arrange and synthesize data and information from multiple sources.
