We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Manager, Business Management Support to provide strategic support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Technology leadership team to oversee end-to-end IT support for high-profile business events and other executive-level engagements.

This role ensures seamless technology execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination to uphold the company’s reputation and operational excellence. The incumbent will work closely with the CIO and IT Executive Committee (ExCo) members, as well as cross-functional teams to deliver flawless IT services during mission-critical events.

The successful candidate will also act as a trusted advisor to the CIO on both internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging, thought leadership, and executive visibility. You will collaborate with global and local technology leadership teams, business leaders, and external partners to enhance the reputation of Hang Seng Bank’s Technology function.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Event Leadership IT Support

Lead end-to-end IT support for high-stakes business events, ensuring all technology requirements are identified, planned, and executed flawlessly. Develop and maintain event calendar and playbooks, contingency plans, and post-event reviews to drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with internal functions (e.g. IT Infrastructure, Corporate Governance, Corporate Communications, etc.) and external vendors (e.g. AV teams, broadcasting firms) to ensure seamless live streaming, webcasting, and hybrid event support.

2. Executive Communications Engagement

Develop and deliver high-quality communications for the CIO, including briefing documents and presentations for senior stakeholders such as the Board, CE, OpCo, and regulators.Develop thought leadership content (e.g. feedback to regulators , social media and internal blogs) to position the CIO and Hang Seng Technology as industry leaders.Craft compelling narratives to articulate Hang Seng Bank Technology’s achievements, and innovation agenda. Ensure the messaging aligns with corporate strategy and brand positioning.

3. Technology Innovation

Evaluate and implement emerging event technologies for opportunities to showcase Hang Seng Bank’s innovative mindset (e.g., AI-driven QA systems, virtual AGM platforms). Manage on-site and co-ordinate with remote IT support teams during events, ensuring 100% availability.
