Senior Manager, US ELIQUIS Consumer Marketing

TEAM SUMMARY

ELIQUIS continues to be the flagship brand for the Internal Medicine business unit and a leading revenue contributor for Pfizer with a long runway to generic entry in 2028. This year, the brand has reached over 15 million patients since launch in the US alone. In fact, ELIQUIS constantly delivers significant growth in both demand and net sales in every quarter since launch. This consistent level of performance has propelled the brand to its dominant position as the market leader in the oral anticoagulant (OAC) category, which also makes it one of the most-prescribed brands overall in the industry.ELIQUIS operates in a fast-paced, competitive environment with a comprehensive marketing plan promoting multiple indications and reaching multiple stakeholders across channels. ELIQUIS is a co-promoted product with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) and offers experience operating in a high-functioning joint venture and Alliance structure. The ELIQUIS Consumer Team is specifically responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience. Patient support and education play an important role in helping patients understand their condition and ELIQUIS along the patient journey. The US ELIQUIS Consumer Marketing Senior Manager plays an important role on the ELIQUIS Brand Team, serving as the patient support liaison, ensuring appropriate development and pull through of patient resources and assets across channels. This colleague is responsible for leveraging cross-channel insights to inform branded and unbranded print and digital asset management and development across the consumer omnichannel ecosystem. This includes optimizing current consumer and patient-facing assets, recommending new pieces as well as managing inventory and forecasting print demand.  This colleague will co-lead Consumer research initiatives to deepen our understanding of patient needs and Consumer market opportunities to ultimately inform optimization of Consumer assets and investment.

Co-Lead (with Pfizer and BMS Alliance team members) development and execution of new Patient Resources that provide clinical support for use of ELIQUIS in appropriate patients.Participation in Ad Boards to identify opportunities to improve Branded and Unbranded patient resources available and field training for improved utilization of resources.Co-Lead (with BMS counterpart) development, execution, and optimization of ELIQUIS Branded Digital assets, inclusive of enhancements to ELIQUIS.com, display, social, and related assets. Serve as Pfizer lead for the Consumer CRM program. Support strategic development, tactical execution, analysis, and optimization of both Branded and Unbranded (NTTW) CRM communications focused on supporting AFib diagnosis and driving adoption and adherence to ELIQUIS treatment in appropriate patients.Collaborate with Media/CMO on media strategy, analysis, and optimization of assigned promotional assets.Partner with Alliance counterparts and cross functional team to uncover and review data and metrics to enhance current pieces or propose new offerings.Partner with IIS, Agencies, and Alliance partners to co-lead Consumer research projects, inclusive of DTC message development, TV pool outs, data reports and patient studies.Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop a deeper sense of Consumer needs and market opportunities.Support Internal and External events identified for Branded and Unbranded (No Time to Wait) initiatives, including Consumer representation and Sales POA meetings, Internal Pfizer events, and external community-based initiatives.Champion PReP review of Consumer promotional pieces as required.

Consumer Team Responsibilities

Serve as Consumer Lead during Tactical Planning processCollaborate with Alliance Brand and extended team members (e.g., Media, Market Research) in management of Consumer budget; own assigned budget items and manage Agency budget tracking and reconciliation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required with 6+ years of marketing and/or healthcare/pharmaceutical experience. NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

This position will require regular travel to NYHQ or Alliance co-located office in New Brunswick, NJ for team meetings or workshops.Some travel required for research, consumer team-led local media events, conferences and business meetings needed

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
