**The Role**
Senior Manager, Transactions will be a role reporting to the VP, Transactions & Integrations. The incumbent will be responsible for (1) strategic support of various Hyatt inorganic growth transaction activities, including supporting (a) the identification and evaluation of portfolio hotel opportunities, (b) the negotiation, structuring and closing of such opportunities, and (c) the integration of any such portfolios into Hyatt and organization and relationship building, internally and externally, with respect to such integrations, and (2) support of complex structured transactions, asset sales and acquisitions, and organization and relationship building, internally and externally, to support Hyatt’s global management and franchise agreements. Specifically, the incumbent will undertake the following responsibilities and functions:
•Support identifying, prioritizing, and evaluating portfolio hotel opportunities, working with internal stakeholders and external consultants, and advisors.
•Negotiate, structure, and close various types of transactions. Such work will include developing relationships with owners of hotels and brands, negotiating with the target, preparing proposals, and participating in pitch meetings.
•Coordinate the internal Hyatt teams supporting transactions and integrations (including Legal, Operations, Development, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Commercial Services), ensuring efficiency and the consistency and quality of the work delivered. Such work will include supporting due diligence activities and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
•Support integration activities (including the development and project management of integration plans pre- and post-portfolio closing) for any portfolios that are to become part of Hyatt. Such work will include supporting organization and relationship building, internally and externally, to develop best practices with respect to integration planning and implementation.
•Prepare appropriate, clear, and timely analysis and materials relating to specific hotel portfolio transactions (including research, financial analysis, proposals, presentations, approval documentation, and internal reports, etc.)
•Implement and refine internal processes (including coordination with functional disciplines across Hyatt).
•Track, monitor, and project manage ongoing transactions, pipeline opportunities, and workstreams.
•Support complex structured transactions, asset sales and acquisitions, and organization and relationship building, internally and externally, to support Hyatt’s global management and franchise agreements.
•Draft term sheets and propose structures for purchase and sale agreements, management agreements, and franchise agreements.
•Develop detailed underwriting models to support the structuring of complex transactions, incorporating cross-functional analysis and third-party advisor underwriting.
•Create and prepare high-level communications with the Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors of Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
•Analyze and solve strategic areas and challenges, synthesizing data from disparate sources to develop recommendations for leaders at the Company, then supporting the execution of the resulting high-impact initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
**Experience Required:**
•5-7 years of experience at an investment bank/consulting firm/commercial real estate firm or similar organization or hospitality company.
•Excellent quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills; financial modeling and valuation expertise; data analytics experience; financing experience.
•Prior hotel / real estate experience required.
•Excellent skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Smartsheet (or comparable software), and Power Point. SharePoint and MS Project are a plus.
**Experience Preferred:**
•Bachelor’s degree

•Sensitivity to issues related to geographical, cultural, language, legal, financial, and regulatory differences that are often present in an international setting.
•Sensitivity to and respect for the confidential nature of the subject matter of the job and the Department.
•Ability to travel on an as-needed basis.

_The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate._
