Senior Manager, Third-Party Model Movement

 Acquiring Partners Product Strategy (APPS) plays a critical role in supporting this growth through developing program platforms, launching new partners, designing program rules, ensuring partner adherence, and managing program controls and governance. The Manager/Senior Manager, Global Program Controls role will provide critical support to ensure a strong controls environment exists around our third-party acquiring programs. The role involves both project management as well as tactical execution and a keen focus on cross-functional integration and optimization.

The primary responsibilities include: 

•  Manage and develop processes to ensure adherence to the Operating Regulations, third-party acquisition partner       requirements, and other Business
•  Manage projects and provide thought leadership in identifying and implementing process changes and improvements
•  Create and maintain dashboard distributed to internal stakeholders
•  Contribute to the day-to-day governance process for managing the compliance and control program, including the co-ordination and prioritization of information/data requests
•  Ensure timely completion of quarterly/semi-annual control testing in support of program PRSA
•  Partner across functions to strengthen the evolving control environment of third-party acquiring programs  
•  Serve as internal consultant and subject matter expert on third-party merchant acquisition programs, compliance and control environments across multiple markets
•  Strong advocate for the program, having the ability to identify impacts and propose solutions with a control and customer focus
•  Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
•  Flexibility to support varying time zones that have global considerations

Minimum Qualifications

•  5+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or Payments
•  Tenacious and resilient self-starter, able to work independently, comfortable with ambiguity and committed to meeting deadlines
•   Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, and rapid change
•  Evidence of strong collaboration and negotiation skills required to balance internal and external partner needs, and ability to influence without authority
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Strong data analytics and project management skills
•  Advanced Excel and Microsoft applications preferred
•  Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills with attention to detail
•  Previous experience in the control environment, i.e. PRSA, Program self-testing, Audit support
•  Knowledge of GMS acquiring processes, procedures, and platforms, preferably with third party acquisition Partners
•  Experience in the payments industry and knowledge of the merchant business preferred
•  Highly motivated, results-oriented individual with strong relationship skills

 

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
