Who You Are:
As the Senior Manager, Technical Analytics, you will serve as a strategic leader within Michael Kors’ Global Analytics team, shaping how digital data is collected, managed, and activated to drive insights and performance across our global eCommerce footprint. This role is central to optimizing and evolving web technologies, particularly around tag management and analytics infrastructure—spanning 50+ sites worldwide. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, oversee robust implementation strategies, and ensure stable, scalable, and privacy-compliant data operations that empower business decision-making.
This is a high-impact role ideal for a digital analytics expert who brings deep technical acumen in Adobe Launch (or equivalent TMS), a forward-thinking QA mindset, and a collaborative leadership style.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee the architecture and governance of the analytics codebase and tag management systems to ensure efficient, reliable, and privacy-compliant data capture.
Translate complex business goals into comprehensive data collection strategies and technical tagging requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, analysts, and marketing teams.
Stay current on industry trends, browser updates, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to inform and evolve tagging best practices.
Maintain and continuously improve solution design documentation and a centralized data dictionary to support consistency and scale.
Evaluate and enhance existing tagging implementations, recommending optimization opportunities and ensuring alignment with business KPIs.
Partner with key stakeholders to implement and manage pixel deployments for campaign tracking, audience retargeting, and performance measurement.
Own and manage the QA/UAT process for all tagging updates, including test plan creation, execution, and validation to ensure high data integrity.
Ensure seamless integration and accurate data exchange between Adobe Analytics and other internal platforms and technologies.
Support A/B and multivariate testing by ensuring all necessary tracking is in place and functioning as expected.
Provide technical analysis and actionable insights to improve data capture and ensure full business value is derived from digital analytics.
Utilize advanced debugging tools such as Adobe Experience Cloud Debugger, OmniBug, ObservePoint, Charles Proxy, and Fiddler to troubleshoot, validate, and optimize tracking performance.
You’ll Need to Have:
6+ years of experience in digital analytics implementation, with deep expertise in Adobe Launch or comparable tag management systems.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams with a focus on alignment, mentorship, and execution excellence.
Proven track record managing large-scale tagging and data layer implementations across enterprise web properties.
Solid knowledge of Adobe Analytics, data privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA), and marketing technology ecosystems.
Strong technical capabilities in JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and debugging tools.
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with business, marketing, and engineering stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented team player.
