Function 
Identify, develop, model, and implement tax planning opportunities and support corporate mergers and acquisitions and transactions. 

Responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, and implement US federal tax planning initiatives that align with the company’s business, financial and risk objectivesBecome a critical resource and develop technical expertise on federal tax credit programsResearch and evaluate tax implications of M&A transactions and internal restructurings and coordinate with legal counselCollaborate with the tax reporting, provision and controversy teams on transactions and planning initiatives.Skills: Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal corporate income tax law; strong technical knowledge of Inflation Reduction Act tax credits a plusStrong analytical and problem solving skills, including ability to research and resolve complex tax issuesStrong modeling skills to quantify material aspects of complex transactionsProven ability to manage and implement complex projects across multiple internal and external stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to concisely present technical positions, risks, etc to managementBasic Qualifications: Bachelor’s DegreeCPA or Juris Doctor8+ years of tax experience with public companies, national accounting firms, or national law firmsExperience in modeling and structuring complex transactionsGeneral knowledge of income tax accounting rulesExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
