Senior Manager, Talent Innovation & Solutions Digital & Analytics - Skills Technology Implementation Leader
We are seeking an experienced implementer of human resource (HR) technologies to partner with the Digital & Analytics leader and collaborate with other Talent Innovation and Solutions (TIS) and Deloitte Technology (DT) teams to oversee existing and implement new software as a service (SAAS) platforms that powers our commitment to becoming a skills-based organization. This role will partner with both technical and business stakeholders to manage requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment, ensuring seamless integration with Deloitte's existing talent and HR systems. The ideal candidate will drive alignment across project teams, oversee data migration and quality assurance, and will support continuous improvement in our skills technology ecosystem. This position is pivotal in enabling Deloitte's talent strategy, empowering our people to develop, deploy, and grow based on their skills and aspirations. Work you'll doIn This Role, you will: + Integrate and partner: Foster alignment, integration, and partnership across project teams, vendors, Deloitte Technology US (DT-US), and other critical technical and non-technical teams (e.g., Office of General Counsel (OGC), Risk, Global Contact Center (GCC)). + Innovate and transform: Co-lead the product implementation of the Eightfold platform, including partnering with Deloitte Consulting, Deloitte Technology, Talent and client stakeholders to support requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. + Advise and collaborate: Partner with process design experts, Deloitte Consulting, Deloitte Technology, and vendor team to articulate the future state architecture and data lifecycle. Use your product management experience to drive the implementation and sustainment activities forward in concert with implementation partners. + Operate and optimize: Oversee functional testing/user acceptance testing cycles, in partnership with Deloitte Technology and Deloitte Consulting testing activities. Support the team with defect management and testing sign-off. Support cutover and conversion activities, stage gate sign-off calls, and sustainment activities as part of the delivery team. + Manage risk and champion security: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery. Liaise with Talent Risk and Talent Data Governance to guarantee secure data sharing while minimizing disruptions to operations. + Evaluate and Prioritize: Review Change Requests related to technology and processes, overseeing the team as they estimate effort and prioritize initiatives within the skills team. The successful candidate will possess: + Experience participating or leading of data migration, data mapping activities, and an understanding of data privacy best practices + Implementation experience and HR functional knowledge of integrating HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) with third-party platforms via APIs or middleware. + An understanding of the talent lifecycle including acquisition, resource management, talent management, workforce planning, learning & development, and other key Talent processes that use skills data + Project management skills with experience leading or supporting HR technology projects from requirements gathering, to user-acceptance testing, to cutover, go-live, hypercare, and sustainment. + Ability to coordinate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders and to translate technical concepts for non-technical/business users. + An understanding of how AI can enhance talent management processes. + Knowledge of HR data taxonomy and ontology processes and tools (e.g., Synaptica) and in the impacts on data standardization, hierarchies, reporting, and integrations. + Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to HR data. The Team The Talent Innovation and Solutions (TIS) Digital & Analytics (D&A) team implements and supports core, firmwide applications leveraged to support key People strategies and processes. As the People Organization identifies opportunities to transform the way we deliver services, technology solutions will need to be implemented or updated to provide an enhanced experience to our professionals and to drive operational efficiency and more seamless service delivery of services and insights. QualificationsRequired: + Bachelor's degree in information technology, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field + 10+ years of related experience implementing SaaS HR solutions and/or HR IT technical implementations with a minimum of 5 years in a lead implementation role. + Experience collaborating with system implementors and stakeholders to document and communicate the data landscape, including a working knowledge of data mapping, data transformation processes, and system operability. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future + Ability to travel at least 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Preferred: + Certifications in HR technology platforms (e.g., Eightfold AI, Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and/or other agile or project/product management certifications. + Experience with AI/ML-driven HR solutions + Change management experience in HR technology transformations, including partnering with change management team on training end-users and quick reference guides/documentation. + Experience in large, complex organizations or consulting environments - particularly managing multi-country/global software implementations. + HR process optimization or consulting experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience at a professional services firm. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700-$218,600. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
