Position Summary
Energizer is seeking a Senior Manager, Sustainability & ESG to lead the development and execution of the organization’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy. As a global business still early in its ESG journey, we are looking for a hands-on leader who can build frameworks from the ground up, establish internal alignment, and guide us toward meeting stakeholder expectations while creating long-term value requiring a blend of strategic vision, project management, people leadership, and pragmatic problem-solving, as well as the ability to collaborate across functions, geographies, and cultures. The role will report to the Deputy General Counsel & Global Head of Sustainability in Legal.
Responsibilities
ESG Strategy & Roadmap
Develop and implement Energizer’s Sustainability and ESG strategy, focusing on material topics most relevant to our industry and stakeholdersEstablish short- and long-term goals, KPIs, and roadmaps to strengthen Sustainability and ESG maturityGovernance & Frameworks
Build Sustainability and ESG governance structures, including policies, reporting protocols, and oversight processesMonitor emerging Sustainability and ESG regulations and assess impact on Energizer operationsData & Reporting
Lead collection and validation of Sustainability and ESG data across global operationsPrepare Energizer’s annual Sustainability Report along with the Global Head of Sustainability and the Manager, Sustainability & ESG, and ensure alignment with recognized standardsCoordinate internal and external audits of ESG disclosuresStakeholder Engagement
Partner with internal teams (HR, Legal, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Communications) to embed Sustainability and ESG considerations into business decisionsSupport investor relations, responding to ESG-related inquiries and ratings agenciesEngage with customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders to align on ESG expectationsCulture & Change Management
Drive internal awareness and education on Sustainability and ESG, building support across leadership and colleaguesAct as a thought leader to elevate Sustainability and ESG as a business value driverWhat we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree required10+ years of managerial experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a related fieldExperience working in a global corporate environment with diverse stakeholdersHighly sophisticated at optimizing technology to help collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of informationAbility to identify and articulate trends from the data

Total Rewards Package
The salary range for this position is USD $126,000.00/Yr. - USD $189,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
