Raytheon is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management to support the RSS Product Line for a program onsite in Plano, Texas. In this role, the candidate will demonstrate project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management in support of our Naval Power customer. They will also ensure program success to cost/schedule/quality, and manage supplier performance in meeting program needs. To be successful, the candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management.
 

Applicant must be located in Plano, Texas or willing to relocate.  There is NO relocation assistance for this role.


What You Will Do:

Lead a team of four with ownership of several TINA suppliers, with focus on collaborating with the Program IPTs to ensure cost effective material availability for production requirements.Sales forecasting of all assigned ETC.Support program capture efforts in working with New Business Team to get compliant material pricing submittals and developing BOE’s (Basis of Estimates) for MPM support labor.Create, manage, and execute MPS (Material Program Strategy and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance; from the front end of the business through contract closure.Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensures IPDP compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable. Key activities typically include: financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales forecasts, etc.)Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS.Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution including other RI&S programs commonality.Ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, international issues, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.


Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years experienceExperience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or financeExperience with supplier management and/or subcontract managementExperience in preparation for, and/ or support of negotiations with suppliersThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is requiredU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
