**Job Summary:**
The Senior Manager, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) - Indonesia is a single-contributor role responsible for enabling fast and compliant product launches by leading end-to-end regulatory approvals and ensuring compliance for ingredients, formulations, products, labels, packaging, food contact materials, claims, promotional materials, and marketing communications in accordance with Indonesian regulations and The Coca-Cola Company's policies and guidelines.
This role plays a critical part in commercialization success by securing timely product registrations and halal approvals, proactively managing regulatory questions and authority clarifications, and maintaining strong working relationships with key authorities (BPOM and BPJPH) and relevant third parties.
**Enable Product Launch Through Approvals (BPOM & BPJPH)**
+ Lead end-to-end product registration submissions and approval processes with BPOM, including dossier preparation, submission tracking, and resolution of authority questions and deficiencies.
+ Support halal readiness and execution by providing advisory on halal regulations, approval process and internal cross-functional alignment.
+ Act as the primary regulatory contact to manage clarifications, follow-ups, and feedback loops with authorities and third parties to avoid delays and enable timely approvals.
+ Provide clear regulatory guidance to business teams to ensure launch timelines are supported by realistic regulatory gating and milestones.
+ Identify early regulatory risks that may impact launch timelines (e.g., ingredient acceptance, claims interpretation, labeling format, packaging materials, halal documentation requirements) and implement mitigation actions quickly.
+ Maintain strong, constructive working relationships with BPOM, BPJPH, and relevant stakeholders to support efficient approvals and consistent engagement.
**Protect and Enable License to Operate (Compliance & Functional Excellence)**
+ Ensure all ingredients, formulas, products, labels, food contact materials, packaging, promotional materials, and marketing communications comply with relevant Indonesian regulations and The Coca-Cola Company's policies and guidelines.
+ Provide regulatory expertise and guidance to identify solutions to regulatory issues affecting products, ingredients, nutrition regulations, labeling, or claims.
+ Manage and protect confidential product formulation and flavour information while engaging with regulatory authorities and third parties.
+ Manage ingredient, formula, product, package, label, claims, and communication approvals using relevant compliance tools and systems,
+ Provide expert support on issues related to Incident Management and Crisis Management, as required.
**Commercialization Support & Cross-Functional Partnership**
+ Partner closely with R&D, Marketing, Legal, PAC, Quality, Supply Chain, and Franchise Operations teams to ensure regulatory inputs are integrated early and accurately.
+ Provide rapid turnaround support to address internal regulatory questions and enable efficient decision-making for commercialization.
+ Translate regulatory requirements into practical, actionable guidance for teams (clear 'what to do next' direction) to support speed and quality of execution.
+ Support innovation and commercialization compliance by providing scientific and regulatory expertise for new product concepts, new ingredients, label/claim enhancements, and packaging innovations.
**Regulatory Intelligence & Stakeholder Engagement**
+ Track and assess local regulatory issues, emerging trends, and stakeholder developments that may impact product approvals, compliance, claims, packaging, labeling, communication, and company reputation.
+ Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of Indonesia's regulatory framework and ensure timely communication of key changes to relevant internal stakeholders.
+ Participate in industry and regulatory forums as required to stay updated and contribute local insights, aligned with Operating Unit and global strategies.
+ Support Operating Unit and global advocacy initiatives by sharing local regulatory insights and execution realities, as needed.

+ Able to manage multiple parallel submissions and priorities with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
+ Demonstrates proactive problem-solving to unblock issues and maintain momentum toward launch timelines.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management, including the ability to influence without authority and work effectively across functions within the networked organisation.
**Key Skills/Experience Required:**
+ BSc., MSc., or PhD in Chemistry, Nutrition, Food Science, Toxicology, or a related technical field.
+ 10+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, government, or related industry in a similar regulatory role.
+ Strong working knowledge and demonstrated leadership experience with BPOM product registration and approval processes.
+ Strong experience supporting halal certification requirements and documentation processes (BPJPH and related ecosystem).
+ Solid experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory frameworks, impact assessment, and risk management within the food and beverage industry.
+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (other relevant languages are a plus).
+ Specific requirements according to geography:
+ Indonesia : The role should be in Indonesia. The candidate should have the strong experience and network with external organization and local authorities.
