Senior Manager, Solution Architecture - Ecosystem

The APAC Ecosystem Tech Sales organization is seeking a Sr. Manager for our Japan Ecosystem Solution Architects teams to accelerate partner solutions and lead technical go-to-market initiatives and sales. You will manage teams responsible for our Japan Partners, including Hardware (OEM), Software (ISV), System Integrators (SI/GSI) and Hyperscalers (Cloud) partners in support of our alliance and co-sell efforts. You will have extensive Enterprise IT experience in the areas of DevOps, Enterprise Open Source, Cloud Native and Hybrid platforms, Automation, AI and multi-partner solutions.

The ideal candidate for this role is a senior technical sales leader that possesses a balance of technical expertise, passion for open source, people development and leadership skills. We are looking for a highly motivated and thoughtful leader who possesses great communication and people skills and can work cross functionally to ensure partner, Red Hat and customer success. This position is based in Tokyo.

What you will do:

Lead Ecosystem Solution Architect teams and assign partner technical activities for the development and implementation of Red Hat solutions, ensuring alignment with revenue goals

Oversee hiring and career development for the team of solutions architects

Collaborate with Ecosystem leadership on partner engagement strategies

Evaluate and measure current SA activities and processes, and where necessary, establish new levels of consistency and innovation

Provide and oversee partner engagement, presentations and product demonstrations

Work with Product Managers, Business Units and other cross functional teams to provide feedback on Red Hat solutions

Collaborate with Ecosystem marketing to develop Partner marketing plans and ensure technical alignment

What you will bring:

7+ years of technical manager and leadership experience, including enterprise IT architecture, development, operations and/or technical sales 

Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent technical training or experience. MBA preferred.

Knowledge of current IT, Cloud, DevOps, Software Architecture and industry trends, best practices and verticals

Knowledge of building and migrating applications, software and services onto the Red Hat hybrid cloud platforms or similar solutions

Experience in guiding and coaching managers and partner-facing technical team members in best practices, processes and procedures, and professional growth

Excellent consultative, verbal, and written communication skills with training and mentoring focus

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people of different backgrounds and experience level

Ability to work on your own in a dynamic and fast-growing environment

Proficient partner and client facing skills up to C-level executives

Willingness to travel up when necessary
