Senior Manager, SHA OFR Gateway
Job Responsibility:
Carriers/Suppliers1.Manages allocated capacities daily.2.Co-ordinates shippers’ forecast, standard allocation and local space optimization to optimize the space utilization at branch level3.Monitors carriers’ performances and works out corrective actions with carriers at branch level.4.Adherence to global decisions on rates, strategies etc.5.Approve renewal/appointment of Carriers/Suppliers complied6.Monitors correct carrier invoicing as last gate keeper.7.Carrier contact/negotiation (OFR) according to corporate policy and local requirements8.Update the Route Mapping quarterly.9.Provide updated inland and terminal costs to OCC for RFQ quotations.
Customs Authorities and other regulatory agencies1.Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies2.Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure operations comply with all regulatory requirements
Marketing & Sales1.Interact with marketing (at country level) in terms of pricing & space allocation2.Interact with oversea’s marketing & sales team on pricing matter
CSSV/OP Department1.Provide OFR technical expertise to other departments in cross-department activities/discussions2.Liaise with other departments to solve operational issues
Overseas Stations1.Liaise with Overseas Stations on problem shipments2.Handle Overseas Stations’ queries
Business Performance & Results1.Responsible for operational result at country/country group level OFR2.Defines, monitors and enforces targets to the operational units3.Select and assigns key positions to reach targets4.Country/country group level, and derives improvement measurements and actions
Business Operational Management1.Responsible for operational management, Production sites, Traffic management, Technical support (buying, capacity etc.), Local purchasing on country level for OFR according to corporate policy2.Proposes IT needs3.Approve all invoices and internal applications4.Review department budget status
People Management1.Determine organization structure, roles and responsibility and performance targets for the function2.Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost nsciousness3.Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team.4.Plan, organize and direct an efficient and effective function5.Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.6.Conduct performance appraisal, including coaching 7.Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets8.Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
Job Requirements:
1.Bachelor Degree & above2. 7 years & above working experience preferably in Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry and at least 3 years management experiences.3.Experience of Freight Forwarding/Carrier/Supply Chain Management4.Good command in written and spoken English5.Good knowledge of OFR product, international trade, logistics.
