As the senior manager of Services, Meetings & Events, you'll lead three critical functions that support operations within the Starbucks Support Center (SSC). Your leadership will provide strategic direction for the AV & Broadcast Team, Meetings & Events Team, and our Amenities program. Each team brings significant experience and expertise to their craft. • AV & Broadcast: Team of audio-visual industry experts that direct and produce large in person and virtual meetings, running a world class broadcasting program. • Meeting & Events: Team of meeting professionals providing start-to-finish logistics support for internal and external meetings and events in addition to hosting guest events that represent the Starbucks brand. • Amenities Program: Vendor management for a network of service providers that operate the Java Gym, Mermaid’s Lagoon Daycare, Business Center, and Sodo Kitchen Café, overseeing offerings, contracts, performance and service standards. **As a senior manager of SSC Services, Meetings & Events, you will…** • Set goals for the work team and actively provide partners with coaching, feedback and development opportunities and model leadership behavior for the larger team. • Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. • Challenge and inspire team members to achieve business results. • Develop strategic and operational plans for the team, managing execution, and measuring results. • Leverage KPIs, QBRs, and key measurements to continuously reinforce what’s working and evaluate changes for what’s not. • Develop, implement, and manage budget for team and projects. • Conduct sourcing events such as RFPs for new service providers and offerings and lead contracting efforts with vendors. • Build strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams to evaluate future opportunities and ensure services meet partner (employee) and business needs. • Leverage industry data to inform future service offerings. **We’d love to hear from people with:** • People management 5+ years • Facilities experience and experience managing vendors 5+ years • Expense budget accountability, including planning, development, and management 5+ years • Program management 5+ years As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
