Senior Manager, Risk Reporting

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Sr. Manager, Risk Reporting for Transformation and Enterprise Operations (TEO), you will lead the Business Office and Process Engineering Risk Reporting standards for the team that provides Cash, Payments & Trade (PTO) and Finance Shared Services (FSS) Operations Risk and Reporting expertise.

You will be part of a fast-paced and dynamic team within Operation Process Engineering (OPE), focused on delivering optimized and enhanced reporting, collaborating with senior leadership and teams across the organization to streamline our operations, and implementing strong models that enhance our risk management.

In this role, you will strategically shape and manage the Risk Reporting Landscape through the design and delivery of reporting standardization/automation and a repeatable process. As the OPE Snr Manager Risk Reporting, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations transformation, focusing on reporting, primarily on Risk and executive business communications. This individual will collaborate with internal Risk and Data teams to enhance reporting efficiency and automation of Risk reporting.

What will you do?

Partner with various reporting and IT teams to understand available Risk Data and drive the creation and automation of Risk Reporting.Lead the development of complex quantitative and analytical risk metrics and reports to manage, measure, and monitor risk exposures.Work closely with the Director, Risk Strategy to enhance and automate Risk reporting and strategy development.Responsible for designing and developing interactive and dynamic data visualizations to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, utilizing a range of tools and technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, or others as requiredDevelop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, utilizing data-driven approaches to measure and monitor potential risks, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Responsible for providing high-quality risk reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and proactive risk management on critical transformation projects and programs, and identifying areas for process improvement to optimize project outcomes.Leverage data science techniques and tools, such as machine learning and statistical modeling, to analyze and interpret complex data sets, and develop insightful risk reports that inform strategic decision-making and drive business outcomes through data-driven risk management and mitigation strategies.Work within a high-performing team to achieve your objectives, collaborating and sharing best practices.Advise senior leaders on risk concerns and provide recommendations to ensure that risks are managed, measured, monitored, and properly reported.Develop a Risk Reporting strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives and lead special projects to advance risk management practices as needed.Establishing thresholds and metrics to drive trend identification and monitoring. Partnering with our Risk teams you will drive the creation KPIs/KRIs in our reporting framework.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

Experience in reporting, data visualization, data analytics is requiredStrong experience in RiskStrong data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights.4+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, business analysis, communications, and/or reporting within operations or a large enterprise.Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.Strong critical thinking skills.Strong time management & organizational skills.Strong communication (written/oral) skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) with experience creating executive-level presentations and reports.Demonstrated experience with financial services processes such as banking operations, transaction processing, regulatory compliance, risk management, and client servicing.Ability to think strategically, articulate complex challenges, and develop and execute on strategic initiatives at all levels of the organization.Keen interest in technology as an enabler and an ability to derive actionable insights from complex data, with a proven skillset in conceptual and analytic problem-solving.Strong prioritization skills and ability to work across a variety of stakeholders and source systems.

Nice-to-have:

An understanding of Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Payments, Trade, Cash, or Financial Shared Services business.Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Math/Finance, IT, or a related field or equivalent experience.Master's degree or MBA is a plus.Experience in data scientist fieldsProject management skills or cross-functional program leadership.Some knowledge/understanding of AI/GenAI/Automation and Digital Solutions.Experience in process engineering, design, optimization, or automation.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and drive business improvements.
