As a senior leader in Retail Lending and Home Financing, you will own and lead the end-to-end design, development, and execution of strategic processes that drive growth, efficiency, and exceptional employee and customer experiences. With a digital-first mindset, you will champion process innovation, streamline internal operations, and unlock capacity for high-impact project work.
Your work will span executional excellence, performance management, stakeholder engagement, process support, and driving excellent customer and employee experience. You will ensure that all processes are aligned with business strategy and stakeholder needs.
Key AccountabilitiesStrategic Process Leadership: Own and lead the full lifecycle of Retail Lending and Home Financing processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes in growth, efficiency, and experience.Digital-First Innovation: Identify and implement digital solutions to streamline internal workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance team capacity for strategic initiatives.Customer & Employee Experience: Design processes that are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with customer expectations and employee needs.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and lead interdependent teams across functional and operating teams to deliver high-value outcomes.Change Management: Lead change initiatives, including readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, execution, and sustainment.Performance Monitoring: Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools to track process performance, identify issues, and drive data-informed decisions.Governance & Compliance: Ensure all processes meet regulatory, risk, and compliance standards while supporting business agility.Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices. Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior leadership.Leadership & CultureFoster a culture aligned to BMO’s purpose, values, and strategy.Role model inclusive leadership and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.Inspire teams with clear goals, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose.Attract, develop, and retain top talent through coaching, recognition, and performance management.Qualifications7+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or strategic leadership roles.Proven expertise in Retail Lending and Home Financing processes.Strong knowledge of business analysis, project delivery, and process design methodologies.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex change.Deep understanding of regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.Exceptional communication, analytical, and influence skills.Data-driven decision-making mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes.Salary:
$86,000.00 - $160,000.00Pay Type:
SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
