These roles will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles. The **Sr. Quality Assurance Manager** will play a critical role in shaping our tactical and operational plans to enhance product and process quality, supplier development, and customer satisfaction. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Lead the **Carrier Excellence Operating System** , targeting Gold-level maturity and Zero Escape Assessment. + Maintain and audit **ISO 9001 certification** and ensure full regulatory compliance in HVAC manufacturing. + Drive **Lean Manufacturing** , **Six Sigma** , **Kaizen** , and **5S** initiatives across operations. + Facilitate **FMEA** , **PFMEA** , and control plans for risk management. + Lead **Root Cause Analysis (RCA)** , **8D** , **DMAIC** , and **A3** problem-solving efforts. + Manage **supplier quality** through audits, development, PPAP, and APQP, with regional/global scope. + Handle **customer escalations** , audits, and complaints directly with global clients. + Make decisions based on **data analytics** using tools like SPC, Minitab, JMP. + Support **digital transformation** via Quality 4.0 tools, ERP (SAP/Oracle), and MES systems. + Lead **organizational change** and promote a culture of quality. + Manage **quality improvement projects** and reduce COPQ. + Mentor and coach cross-functional teams in quality systems and continuous improvement. **MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:** Education & Certifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. + Six Sigma Green Belt. Experience: + 10+ years total QA experience, with 5+ years in QA leadership roles. + High-volume metal mechanic manufacturing (no electronics). + Experience in facilities with 800+ employees. + Managed teams of 10–50 quality professionals. + Led internal/external audits and passed customer audits. + Worked closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and EHS. + Experience working with global teams, customers, and suppliers. Expert proficiency in: + ISO 9001 implementation, certification, and auditing. + RCA, 8D, DMAIC, A3. + **Fluent English conversations** across multidisciplinary teams. Advanced proficiency in: + Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S. + FMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Risk Analysis. + Supplier audits, development, PPAP, APQP. + Customer complaint management and audit handling. + SPC, Minitab, JMP or similar tools. + HVAC regulatory compliance (highly desired). + Team development and cross-functional leadership. + Change management and quality culture leadership. + Project management for quality improvement and COPQ reduction. Availability: + Open to travel up to 10% (US Visa required). + Able to commute on a daily basis to Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Education & Certifications: + Master's degree in related field. + Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). + Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE). + Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt. + ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. + PMP (Project Management Professional). + ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 awareness.
