Senior Manager, Product Capacity Management, Starbroker
Job PurposeParticipate in design and ensure implementation of capacity management strategy at district level to support the commercial strategy in line with business; objectives, corporate guidelines and policies

Key Tasks•\tDesign and execute capacity management activities•\tEnsure providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul and flights required for hub and operations performance•\tGuide district on product and capacity management•\tEnsure the development and implementation of products for various Starbroker customers and products including perishables, pharmaceutical, aviation, etc.•\tLead the development of Starbroker carrier management and capacity management plans and budgets, and the achievement of productivity targets•\tEnsure, that customer and airline requirements and service, cost and budgetary guidelines are met•\tDirect the development and maintenance of databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries•\tBuild and secure business relationships with customers and airlines•\tEnsure the preparation of carrier performance reports and reviews•\tPeriodically review processes and systems to enhance service quality and alignment with company's direction and long-term goals•\tScan alternatives to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive products and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets•\tStudy issues, determine opportunities and introduce best practices for capacity management focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency•\tOversee recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development•\tAnalyze complex issues, benchmark, identify opportunities and introduce best practices for capacity management focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency•\tExecute global procurement strategy•\tEnsure adherence to global decisions
