Senior Manager, Procurement

The opportunity: Contract Manufacturing

The Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and strategic partnerships for contract manufacturing. This role will focus on developing supplier relationships and ensuring quality and compliance across the supplier base and manufacturing operations. Additionally, the individual will drive process standardization, continuous process improvement, and value creation by improving Total Cost of Ownership, across the enterprise.

Manage supplier relationships, including performance management, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Planning, and Logistics, to align capabilities with business needsMonitor market trends and supply chain risks to mitigate potential disruptionsImprove supply chain assurance through a thorough understanding of market drivers that impact the timely delivery of goods and services to our manufacturing sites for the best value.Drive the standardization of procurement processes through stakeholder engagement and alignment across all business segments to ensure we optimize our purchasing power and create transactional efficiency.  
 

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of professional experience with background in Procurement and/or Category Management in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.  Ability to easily build relationships with stakeholders and resolve potential conflictsProven ability to negotiate and manage complex contracts with third-party manufacturers Strong communication skills, ability to develop relationships, and lead through change. Ability to work across multiple teams and lead through influence.  Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
