SUMMARY OF KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead and develop a team of actuaries and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence while ensuring delivery of high-impact analytical solutionsCollaborate closely with TDI Pricing stakeholders to understand their unique requirements, develop tailored solutions, and maintain strong, productive relationships that drive mutual success.Drive the strategic vision for end-to-end machine learning solutions, from problem formulation through deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunitiesChampion innovative approaches to traditional insurance problems, continuously identifying opportunities to leverage cutting-edge methodologies and technologiesOrchestrate collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into actionable analytical frameworksPartner with Model Governance teams to establish efficient validation protocols that balance innovation with regulatory compliance and industry standardsGuide the development of scalable modeling frameworks and robust inference pipelines, ensuring technical sustainability and operational excellenceMentor team members in both technical and business aspects, developing their capabilities in areas such as feature engineering, model architecture design, and stakeholder managementProvide strategic oversight of multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and innovationCUSTOMER
Lead the overall team and ensure knowledge and capabilities are effectively managed to support medium to longer term business needsLead the communication, interpretation, application, and implementation of results for actuarial analysisDirect, plan and oversee resources within allocated actuarial function(s) to fulfil departmental responsibilitiesProvide leadership and professional development to Actuarial staff to ensure a knowledgeable and highly motivated teamCommunicate complex actuarial concepts in clear, easy to understand terminology to promote impacts / ramifications to senior leadership and risk managementMonitor competitiveness and market intelligence to adapt strategiesManage the development and evolution of telematics pricing data, reports and modelsSHAREHOLDER
