The Senior Manager, MRO Strategy is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across the Aerostructures business by leading the deployment of the CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) and Continuous Improvement (CI) operating system. As a recognized expert in lean methodologies, this role partners with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to implement transformative initiatives that deliver best-in-class performance, digital integration, and sustainable operational results.
The position is accountable for aligning process improvements with business strategies, facilitating enterprise-wide projects, mentoring teams on CI practices, and ensuring measurable outcomes through advanced problem-solving tools and data-driven decision-making. This individual plays a critical role in shaping a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation, and advancing CORE/CI maturity throughout the organization.
What You Will Do:
You will work onsite in Foley, AlabamaDeliver digital solutions on our current commitments and aid in successful implementation of our future strategies.Drive continuous improvement of the business with CORE/CI or other lean tools and methodologies and facilitates the tactical application of advanced CORE/CI or other lean tools.Direct, lead and execute the long- and short-term strategy to ensure sustainable results that meet or exceed financial and operational targets.Works with leadership to develop and implement operational excellence strategy.Establishes operational plans in support of policy deployment goals and initiatives for the organization.Works to select, implement, develop, maintain and support business systems and DT applications through understanding of the business processes and their implications, then applying process improvement concepts for simplification and productivity to support business goals and objectives.Provides solution support, working collaboratively with business partners and DT to complete projects to achieve their strategic goals.Responsible for alignment of business systems through technology selection, development, programming, configuring and testing of both new applications and legacy systems, which requires knowledge of business processes, systems architecture, development processes for improved design, as well as understanding of systems integration for applications.Accountable for establishing metrics and ensuring targets are met including event/project closure results achieved.Leads/ Facilitate complex projects/transformations that cut across organizational, functional and internal boundaries.Drives/Facilitates resolution of difficult or complex problems and manages closure actions.Drives/develops improvement and implementation of current and new processes and standards that will have impact on the achievement of functional resultsCoaching, mentoring, and training individuals and organizations within the business on their CORE & CI journey.Interface directly with Executives/Management to positively influence and lead CORE/CI culture and competency improvement across the organization.Develops methods for identifying, sharing, and implementing best practices across the organization.Measures and drives CORE/CI progression across the organization and facilitates/sponsors kaizen/CI events including leadership weeks.Successfully builds networks across the organization and discipline.Identifies knowledge gaps across the organization and establishes a closure plan.Must Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experiencePrior experience managing projects and/or multiple projects at once.Prior experience presenting to senior leadershipExperience integrating systems into data visualization such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar.Qualifications We Prefer:
PMP Certification or Six Sigma CertificationLean Certification / CORE practitioner or equivalentCross functional work experience (e. g. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
