**Senior Manager, Mechanical Engineering - MedTech São José dos Campos**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team in the development and implementation of cutting-edge medical device manufacturing, packaging and sterilization technology. This role will be a member of the site leadership team and a key member of the Global Technical Operations group. You will oversee engineering projects from concept to stabilization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
+ Develop a manufacturing technology roadmap that aligns with business requirements. Oversee roadmap timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
+ Manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and testing of manufacturing technology, ensuring they meet standards and requirements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, quality assurance, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless project execution.
+ Establish engineering processes and standards to improve efficiency and product quality.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the medical device sector.
+ Prepare and present status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
+ Serve as a member of the Global Technical Operations group, contributing to the strategic direction and technical excellence across Med Tech Surgery manufacturing network.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or a related field).
+ 7+ years of experience in engineering management within the medical device or healthcare industry.
+ Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO) related to medical devices is preferred.
+ Proven experience in project management, with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
+ Knowledge of packaging and sterilization technology is an advantage
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation.
