What is the opportunity?
A key member of the Marketing Finance & Integration team, aligned to BMCC, Personal Banking, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management, manages all operational aspects of marketing cost management. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the integrity of all data that supports the delivery of management reporting, underpinned by main activities including budget day to day management and period-end close. This role will appeal to individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and significant visibility across the supported lines of business (LOBs), who thrive on challenges in an innovative environment.
What will you do?
Responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of all data that supports the generation of financial insights around marketing cost across the LOBs, with primary focus on Personal Banking and Commercial Banking.Support the period-end close process, ensuring the completeness and validity of marketing costs at the line of business level as well as in total.Support the annual budget cycles and periodic forecast updates.Designing and implementing data models to structure data for efficient analysis and reporting.Analyzing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Building subject matter expertise on all cost lines and opportunities that can be used to further support cost saving initiatives.What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Keen sense of numbers and strong analytical skills with ability to multitask.Strong focus on controls.Proficient with month-end close process and accounting estimates and reconciliations.Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Presentation skills required.Strong time management, organization skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks within fixed deadlines.Able to exercise independent thought and judgment as needed and adapt to new tasks quickly.Nice to Have
Experience in management reporting and analysis, stakeholder interactions and relationship management.Experience with planning and forecasting.Finance/Accounting background.What’s in it for you?
