As part of Charles Schwab’s Lease Administration team, you will be responsible for the day- to- day management of the company’s large real estate portfolio. The Senior Manager Lease Administration is part of a collaborative, diverse and driven professional environment. The team maintains and processes critical lease information in the lease database system (CoStar). The Senior Manager Lease Administration is responsible for tracking critical dates, ensuring timely payments of rents, resolving payment issues, managing reporting, and reviewing/abstracting documents. The Senior Manager Lease Administration collaborates and works closely with other groups in Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Legal and Risk Management, as well as being a key point of contact with multiple landlords that range in size from small property owners to large institutions including REITs.

 

What you’ll do:

Maintain and manage a large diverse real estate portfolio that includes office and retail locationsProvide timely and accurate documentation and reportingProcess rent payments and coordinate wire transfersAbstract complex lease documentsEnsure rent payments are made in accordance with the lease and are processed on timeReview CAM; miscellaneous charges and real estate tax invoices and ensure they are correct prior to paymentReview annual reconciliation statements and perform desktop auditsWork with landlords and property managers to resolve issuesAccounts receivable and cash collectionsMonitor letters of credit and security depositsPerform due diligence for the SNDA and estoppel documentsManage and respond to landlords’ requests for certificates of insurance

 

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site four days per week in the specified locations.

 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree7+ years of relevant professional work experience including 3+ years of lease administration experience Strong understanding of key real estate conceptsAbility to understand and interpret complex office/retail leasesStrong financial and analytical skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailsInterpersonal skills and problem solvingAbility to work independently and within a team environment to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external business partnersStrong verbal/written communication skillsAble to multi-task, prioritize/manage timeProven ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with capability to master company-specific accounting and lease administration database programs
