Main responsibilities:
The Sr. Manager, Talent and Leadership Development plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of leaders at Albertsons Companies. This individual will lead the design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of leadership development programs across our diverse portfolio of grocery banners. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of strategic vision, instructional design expertise, and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Leadership Development Strategy: Collaborate with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders to define a leadership development strategy aligned with the company's mission, values, and strategic priorities. This includes identifying leadership competencies and skills critical for success in our ever-evolving business. Program Design & Delivery: Create innovative and engaging leadership development programs that address identified gaps, leverage a variety of learning modalities (e.g., instructor-led training, e-learning, experiential projects, mentorship, etc.), and foster a continuous learning mindset across the enterprise. Needs Assessment: Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify emerging leadership development requirements throughout the organization. Stakeholder Management: Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to gain alignment, promote participation, and ensure the effective execution of leadership development initiatives. Evaluation & Measurement: Develop and implement metrics to track the effectiveness of leadership development programs. Analyze data, gather feedback, and use insights to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate the value of these programs Vendor Management: Identify, select, and manage external vendors and consultants as needed to supplement in-house leadership development capabilitiesWe are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in talent development, with a demonstrated track record of designing and delivering successful leadership development programs. Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and contemporary leadership development frameworks. Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization. Strong program and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated needs assessment and learning consulting skills. Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills. Experience using learning management systems and other HR technology a plus. Prior leadership experience (holding formal leadership roles), executive development experience, and coaching experience preferred.What we are searching for:
