Job Description

The Senior Manager is in charge of leading the cross functional team efforts to build a best in class congress and event strategy that elevates the IBD portfolio incorporating strategic insights and innovation. 

As a member of the one IBD team and a core member of all the IBD brand teams , the Sr. Manager is responsible for analyzing the competitive congress presence, engagement strategies and previous IBD engagements to inform the evolution of the congress and event strategy. 

The Senior Manager will engage and collaborate with a cross-functional team members including market access, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, health economics, public affairs, medical and regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC, and global learning. Close partnership with Area and affiliate teams is also required to ensure excellent congress presence and engagement. 

Lead the strategy and execution of UEG, ECCO and other congresses (Sponsorship, Booth, engagement plan)Lead the pre-congress and BT meeting preparations (branding and communication plan)Support any HCP meeting activitiesLead the congresses and events communication plan  

This role does not have direct reports but must demonstrate the ability to influence and lead cross-functionally to successfully drive the business, so strong influencing skills and leading in a matrix environment are must to have abilities. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

Strategic Brand Development: Collaborate in the formulation of strategic and functional brand plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.Insightful Initiative Development: Deliver key insights necessary for crafting innovative and impactful initiatives and tactics. Align these with brand strategic imperatives to enhance patient experiences, establish brand differentiation, and elevate standards of care.Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale projects seamlessly, ensuring cross-functional collaboration for successful execution of plans.Effective Communicator: Leverage strong communication skills for clear and persuasive interactions both internally and externally.Conference and Relationship Management: Oversee external medical conference activities and engage with external customers. Build and maintain relationships with gastroenterology organizations (e.g., ECCO, UEG) and key opinion leaders as appropriate.Vendor and Agency Collaboration: Manage projects alongside vendors and agencies, ensuring adherence to budget. Identify efficiencies and synergies to maximize resource utilization.
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experienceStrategic mindset with the capacity to drive execution through affiliates.Proven track record of effectively working in cross-functional teams and matrix environments.Capacity to inform and influence INBTs strategic decisionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong quantitative skillsAble and willing to extensively travel internationally.
