You will also manage processes such as IPD, quality assurance, business controls, and procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Development Expenses: Develop and administer development expense and support budgets, ensuring effective cost management and budget attainment. • Ensure Client Satisfaction: Focus on delivering high-quality solutions, achieving client satisfaction, and maintaining satisfactory audits. • Lead Cloud Development: Show expertise in multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid clouds, as well as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). • Drive Open Source Contributions: Contribute to open source software, work effectively with open source communities, and drive community best practices in IBM processes. • Oversee Cloud Operations: Demonstrate in-depth operational and administrative knowledge, managing day-to-day activities and ensuring smooth cloud operations. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Multi-Cloud Environment Expertise: Deep expertise in managing multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid clouds, as well as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). • Cloud Development Leadership: Experience leading cloud development teams, with a strong understanding of concepts around Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Resiliency, Container Applications using Kubernetes, and Content Delivery. • Open Source Contributions: Proven track record of contributing to open source software, working effectively with open source communities, and driving community best practices in IBM processes. • Cloud Operations Management: In-depth operational and administrative knowledge, with experience managing day-to-day activities and ensuring smooth cloud operations. • Budget Management: Experience developing and administering development expense and support budgets, with a focus on effective cost management and budget attainment. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Cloud Development Frameworks: Deep expertise in development on platforms such as IBM Cloud, PowerVS, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with an understanding of their respective strengths and weaknesses. • Open Source Community Influence: Experience working on open source projects, such as kubernetes, Kata, Operators, and contributing to the community to support IBM needs, driving community best practices in IBM processes. • Emerging Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with concepts around Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Resiliency, Container Applications using Kubernetes, and Content Delivery, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive innovation in cloud development.
