Brazil Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is at the exciting phase of building a logistics network at rapid scale, dealing with the toughest last mile challenges and opportunity areas in cost, service and quality, seeking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Operations Manager with eagerness to propel its growth and help drive the expansion and operational management of the HUB DP network, which comprises in a hybrid model of last mile nodes, that levers from already existent small and local partners delivering the best in class operational performance through the usage of the AMZL processes and technologies.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage the HUB DP (Delivery Providers) area
- Spearheading new initiatives that enable growth, enhance our processes, and lower costs for our customers.
- Building strong partnership with operations field leaders of other areas, fastening the resolution of problems that could spam last mile and other Ops areas.
- Identify impact of new business initiatives and successfully integrate and deploy them onsite.
- Innovating to improve customer experience and remove costs from our network.
- Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes.
- Search for ways to optimize our network and operations through a continuous benchmark with peers from other countries.
- Build short, medium and long term strategies for the area, being able to uphold it with senior Ops leadership outside Brazil.
- Building new mechanisms and metrics that help streamline daily operations.
- Working with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business.
- Working effectively across multiple organizations, including field operators, support teams, and technology product managers.
