Senior Manager, Group Finance Reporting

Job Description

This role is based in our Sunway VISIO Tower office. 

The Senior Manager, Group Finance Reporting serves as a critical link between corporate accounting teams, finance departments, and business units across the ASEAN region. This role supports consolidation and reporting processes while maintaining financial integrity throughout the organization. As part of the ASEAN Finance Leadership charter, the Senior Manager is empowered to instil accountability, transparency, and innovation through the application of sound Financial Analytics and Business Intelligence tools, supporting business operations within the jurisdictional compliance framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Planning & Analysis

Perform monthly forecast consolidation for the ASEAN region, providing valuable insights and commentarySupport annual budget preparation and three-year planning (3YP) financial data for the ASEAN regionConsolidate financial results and prepare accurate, timely regional financial reportsMonitor and manage all ASEAN indirect regional costsDrive process improvement initiatives to streamline and standardize reporting across ASEAN

Treasury & Intercompany Management

Oversee ASEAN treasury and cash flow matters, working closely with Group TreasuryServe as key contact person with Group Tax to coordinate and ensure timely implementation of all intercompany agreementsAct as ASEAN focal point with Asia Shared Service Centre (ASSC) to coordinate and provide constructive feedback on processes and month-end closing procedures

Strategic Planning & Reporting

Coordinate with country finance teams to ensure timely submission of reporting packsFacilitate and assume a pivotal role in Informa Long Range Planning (LRP) and stewardship of finance strategiesFulfil reporting requirements as requested by Group Finance

Compliance & Governance

Liaise with ASSC Hong Kong for all month-end reporting requirementsEscalate non-conformance or findings in a timely mannerProvide support for Internal Audit activities and queriesDemonstrate robust understanding and enforcement of Delegated AuthorityEnsure adherence to and enforcement of Group Policies (Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Legal)

 

QualificationsProfessional qualification required (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA)Fluent in English and Mandarin capability requiredMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance Business, Corporate Finance, and system implementation within a multinational work environmentSolid working knowledge of ERP systems and analysis tools to provide commercial insight. Proven track record in driving changes, formulating, and championing improvement programsSolution-driven individual capable of thinking outside the box while being willing to dive into detailsCollaborative mindset with ability to work effectively with colleagues of different cultures and across organizational hierarchyStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentThis position reports to the ASEAN Regional Finance Director and works closely with country finance teams, Group Finance, Group Tax, and the Asia Shared Service Centre.
